The Badlands Baby Fair & Expo is excited to celebrate our 5th annual event with a special guest speaker, Sean Brotherson, Ph.D., Professor and Extension Family Science Specialist and author of Father Times -a newsletter for fathers and father figures of young children.
It’s time to take a fresh look at being a dad! Dr. Brotherson will share his experiences in Generative Fathering -how fathers provide for the needs of their children and the next generation.
Bring the whole family as we celebrate dad with activities, classes, and vendors that engage and encourage Dad in parenting from pregnancy through preschool!
We offer free, fun, and educational, classes led by local professionals on topics ranging from pregnancy & birth, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, infant massage, early literacy, car seat safety, active parenting, and more!
Our activities, such as KIDS fit, Babywearing & Cloth Diapering demonstrations, and the popular, I Crawled the Line! Diaper Derby, encourage family participation. All day activities include MiniPhotography sessions, a family reading nook, concessions, and a Mother’s Lounge.
This year, The Badlands Baby Fair has partnered with the United Way and our local Southwest District Health Office to host a Community Baby Shower for expectant families in need to provide First 30 gift bags containing the basics to bring home baby.
Do not miss this opportunity to connect with 40+ local crafters, businesses, and service agencies in Southwestern North Dakota and meet 600+ local guests at this FREE community event organized by local parent volunteers.
