Miracle tells the story of one of the many bands of horses living in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. On March 17, 2018, we lost our beloved Mare Chubby due to complications while giving birth to her filly we chose to call Miracle.
The book highlights a little bit of the history of Stallion Cloud’s band. There is an emphasis on the first year of the life of Cloud and Chubby’s 2017 colt, Bubbles. Miracle then takes you on a journey over the course of the five days that followed after Chubby’s death. The book documents the ever-changing dynamics of the band as they came to terms with both the death of Chubby and worked to try to save the life of little Miracle.
The book comes complete with full page color photos to help tell the story.
We feel that this is a fitting tribute to our beautiful and highly missed Mare Chubby. It also serves as a remembrance to her filly Miracle, and all of the other little ones we lost last year. This book also celebrates the determination, love, and absolute beauty of their then yearling colt, Bubbles, as we both watch him grow during his first year and fight to protect his sister.
Authors Chris and Gary Kman will be on hand to sign copies of the book and will have some special giveaways as well!
