It is with deep regret that we announce the 50th Annual Roughrider Days Fair and Expo scheduled for June 24th- July 4th 2020, has been canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Roughrider Commission did not make this decision lightly as this year marks a milestone anniversary and an event that many in our community and the surrounding area look forward to every year. The Roughrider Commission has based their decision on the health and well-being of the general public, event volunteers, contestants, and contractors that make Roughrider Days the great event that it is.
We appreciate the volunteers and local business sponsors that have shown their support for our event this year. Without them, Roughrider Days would not be able to go on like it has for the last 50 years. That commitment shows the toughness and faith in our community.
While all spectator and large gathering events during Roughrider Days have been canceled, the Roughrider Commission will still be having the Fireworks display on the 4th of July! This display can be seen from all over Dickinson and the surrounding area. We urge everyone to practice all health recommendations in place during that time.
The Roughrider Commission appreciates the support from the community throughout the years. We hope that you will join us as we look forward to our 50th Anniversary celebration June 23- July 4th 2021!
