A headshot of Kim Heidt, VP of Human Resources at SteffesSteffes is proud to announce Kim Heidt, VP of People and Culture, has been named one of Prairie Business Magazine’s top 25 Women in Business 2021. This award recognizes 25 women across North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota who are leaders in both their career and community.   

 

As VP of People and Culture, Heidt oversees the Human Resources operations at Steffes with a focus on company culture, employee engagement, career development, and strategic HR solutions to support the overall success of the company. She is a member of the Executive Team and brings more than 15 years of HR experience to her role in industries ranging from Healthcare to Engineering to Pharmaceutical Research and now Manufacturing.

Kim’s desire to help people become the best version of themselves is what drew her to HR as a career path that would allow her to make a daily impact. Those who work closely with Kim describe her as an empathetic, compassionate, and charismatic leader. She demonstrates our core values through her leadership and motivates those around her by developing connections with team members throughout the organization.

Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a HR Management focus from the University of Mary. In addition to her role at Steffes, Kim is actively involved in the Dickinson community. She serves on the SAHRA Board as Membership Director, is a member of the Dickinson CHI Charity Ball committee, and a member of the Dream It Do It program which promotes the diversified career opportunities in manufacturing to younger generations.
