                 ‘Project HOPE Color Run/Walk’
A Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation Fundraiser
Join the fun on Sunday, May 2, as runners and walkers will participate in the first annual Bismarck Cancer Center’s ‘Project HOPE Color Run/Walk’. The fun run will begin at the Sertoma Park Community Shelter with registration at 1:00 and the Run starts at 2:00. This fun run will feature cancer prevention and detection information throughout the race along with colorful chalk color throws corresponding with the cancer awareness ribbon colors.
The fun run kicks off Bismarck/Mandan’s week long Project HOPE, as area businesses spread cancer awareness and education the week of May 3-7, 2021. This colorful wellness event seeks to educate the community on healthy lifestyle choices, cancer prevention, and early detection, and encourage hope for the future.
A portion of the money received through registration and donations will benefit the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation, which provides financial support and assistance to ease the burden and stress of cancer on patients and their families. All donations stay local and help make a meaningful difference to patients by funding programs such as patient housing, gas cards, massage therapy, spiritual therapy, and more.
The Project HOPE Color Run is open to the public and there is a registration fee of $20 for adults and $15 for 10 years old and under to participate. Registration includes a white tee shirt to ‘color up’ during the run. For more information or to register call 701-222-6100 or visit www.bismarckcancercenter.com.
